Wedding Reception
Following the ceremony, the reception will be held at Brackenwood Farm, Blackhill Road, East Wellow, SO51 6AQ. This is approximately 3 miles by road from the church.
Parking is available off road, and the route from the church to Brackenwood will be signposted. Transport between the church and the reception can be provided, just let us know if you need a seat.
Directions
Leaving from the church - At the end of the church lane turn right into Hackleys Lane. After 0.7 miles you reach a road junction, turn right at this junction, After 0.6 miles you reach the A36, turn right (signed Salisbury, Bramshaw, Landford). After 200 take the first left (signed Bramshaw) across the cattle grid. Travel 400yards and Brackenwood Farm is the white house on the right Turn in through the gate (after the house) into the farm yard, and park in the paddocks on the left. If you reach a working farm called Swallowfields you have gone too far.
Weather
The wedding reception is being held outside and in a marquee, we are obviously hoping for good weather, however we would request that you have alternative footwear and a warm layer available.
We will be placing up to date weather information on the website, however we would recommend you keep an eye on the weather forecast to inform your choice of clothing and footwear.
Finally all we can ask is that you hope for good weather, and we are so looking forward to seeing you all (and getting married)
Dress code
Ladies (and gentlemen), when selecting your footwear please be advised that the path to the church is gravel, the reception is in and around a marquee in a paddock, and there will be a ceilidh (that is a dance for those from south of the border) in the evening. A suitable selection of shoes is encouraged!
